Balsamic Caramel Popcorn

3 tbsp Butter Olive Oil or Sweet Butter Olive Oil
1/2 cup kernel popcorn
3/4 sugar
2 tbsp local honey (Innisfil Creek Honey available at Barrie Olive Oil)
2 tbsp Chocolate Balsamic
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch sea salt


Heat 2 tbsp Butter Olive Oil in pot and add 1/2 cup kernels and pop 3-5 minutes.

Place 1 tbsp of Butter Olive Oil in saucepan.  Add sugar and honey and Chocolate Balsamic and stir to dissolve sugar.  Bring to a steady simmer without stirring 3-5 minutes.  Carefully add baking soda and stir.

Pour over popcorn and stir.

Pour mixture on to cookie sheet with parchment paper

Heat in 325 oven for 20 minutes and serve.
