Dreamy Dairy Free Caramel Sauce


1/2 cup Sweet Butter Olive Oil
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup canned coconut milk
1 tsp vanilla extract


Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.  

Once the mixture begins to bubble, leave it on for another 5-7 minutes while it thickens up.  

Remove from heat and allow it to cool and thicken completely.  

Store in the fridge and use within 48 hours.

*For salted caramel, add salt to taste, starting with one tsp.  To really bring it to the next level, try adding a splash of our Maple Balsamic Vinegar, or even whiskey!
